Failing Leach Field?
Don't dig it up yet.

We restore clogged, compacted drain fields with the EarthBuster deep-soil air treatment — often bringing a field back without tearing up your yard for a replacement.

Family owned · Licensed El Paso County septic installer · Office 719-640-0111

Signs your leach field is failing

Most of the time the cause is a biomat — a slimy layer that builds up where effluent meets the soil — plus soil that's been compacted over the years. Water can't soak in, so it surfaces or backs up.

How EarthBuster restoration works

  1. Evaluate first. We pump and inspect the tank, locate the field, and check whether restoration makes sense for your system.
  2. Probe beside the trenches. A probe is pushed up to about 6 feet into the soil alongside your trenches or chambers, every few feet down both sides.
  3. Blast of air. Compressed air is released at several depths, fracturing compacted soil and breaking up the biomat.
  4. Field breathes again. New fissures let effluent soak in and oxygen back into the soil, helping natural bacteria break the biomat down.

Air only — no chemicals, no foam beads. Works on pipe & gravel, chamber and mound systems. Leaves only small holes in the lawn when the ground is dry.
